Psychological
Therapy
The focus of psychological therapy is to work through the things that may be impacting your emotional wellbeing and to identify and practice strategies to cope with them or overcome them. This is a person-centred collaborative approach, with a heavy emphasis on the formulation of your unique situation and circumstances and developing of insight and self-awareness. The therapy module used will depend on what is considered most helpful and scientifically recommended for your difficulties, and can include but not be limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, systemic and narrative approaches, behavioural models, and specialist Trauma Focused interventions.
